Tis the season!

Make time to celebrate the upcoming holidays in Parkersburg at the following events

November 18, 2023 - Holiday in the Park Opening Ceremony

Join us at the Horseshoe Pit at 6pm on Saturday, November 18th for the official opening ceremony of the Holiday in Park lights!

Hear Christmas carols from the Hamilton Middle School choir, take a ride through the park on an antique fire truck, and see a special guest appearance! Following this event, the lights will be on Monday through Thursday from 6-9pm and Friday - Sunday from 6-10pm.

From childhood favorites to modern-day exhibits, the lights are a long-standing tradition at the Parkersburg City Park. Be sure to stop as you exit for a special treat and to make a donation to ensure this tradition continues for years to come.

Visit the new holiday ice skating rink at Discovery World on Market!
Open to museum members and guests Friday through Sunday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
Open for those 18 and over without children on Saturdays from 5:30 - 8:00 pm
